Hi Friends! If you haven’t noticed from my Instagram posts my husband and I were in Charleston last week and it was an amazing time. I thought I would share the place that we stayed, shopped and ate at while we were there. Keep scrolling to the end to find out how to enter my two night free stay at the Inns!

Where We Stayed: The Inns Charleston was honestly a mansion and our stay was perfect. It was a 10 bedroom house and my husband and I had the entire second floor. Each unit has their own kitchen and we had a huge porch. It was so nice to sit and have coffee in the mornings on the porch and drinks at night. Our floor was very clean and the beds were SOO comfortable. My husband and I both said it was the best night of sleep we have had! Overall we really loved everything about the Inn. Plus, it was in a great location! It was walking distance to a lot of breakfast and lunch spots and just a 5 minute uber drive to Kings Street. Also, the pink door was a total plus for pictures!

Where to Eat: We were so impressed with the Southern food!! The portions were HUGE so my husband and I split almost every meal.

Indaco: The first night we were there we ate at an Amazing Italian restaurant.  We were walking downtown and looked into a window and saw this mouthwatering pizza. Of course, we walked in and ordered the sausage pizza. It has a flatbread-like crust that was crispy and tasted just as good as it looked! They also have an awesome wine menu!

Poogan’s Porch: This is the ultimate brunch spot. It’s located right off King’s Street and has the cutest porches to eat on! The food was incredible!! They serve you buttery biscuits served with honey and jam, and delicious entrees. I got the Chicken & Biscuits and I loved every bite!

Tavern Table: This restaurant was right on the water and it was so nice because you could sit inside or outside. Also, the food was amazing! My husband got fish tacos and I got mac & cheese and its was so good. I also got the Blueberry Sangria and would definitely recommend.

What to Do:

Explore the city: We walked almost everywhere while we were there and one of my absolute favorites was Rainbow Row.  This street is a colorful row of buildings along East Bay Street. Also, the Battery was incredibly beautiful with huge historic homes you’ve ever seen in your life and tons of marble staircases!

Boone Hall Plantation: I really wanted to see this plantation because of the movie the “Notebook” and the gorgeous rows of trees. The tours were so educational and is worth checking out!

Mt. Pleasant & Sullivan’s Beach: Just outside Charleston is a cute beach town called Mt. Pleasant, where it was very low-key and the beaches were gorgeous. This too has the cutest restraunts and shops. Note: You do have to take the huge bridge to get there.
