My Fall Reading List

IMG_7920

Hey guys! I’ve put together a list of my favorite books I’ve read this fall and majority of these books are thrillers. I love when a book keeps me guessing and the anticipation of what is going to happen! Click on any of the titles to find the book!

The Wife Between Us

If there is one book you should read from this roundup is has to be THIS ONE and they’re making it into a movie! This book takes you through an array of sides and personalities. When I first starting to read this book I thought that the wife was very jealous of her ex-husband and his new fiancé. However, the more you read, the more twists and turns you learn about their past marriage and clues to what happened. I don’t want to give too much away, however I LOVED this one and it’s also highly rated on Amazon too.

The Marriage Lie:

This one was SO good! In the beginning of this book you think that Iris and her husband have a perfect relationship however, one morning she finds out her husband’s plane he was on has crashed, killing everyone on board. With loads of twists and turns you find out that her husband wasn’t supposed to be on that plane and heading to a different location for work. As the book unravels, she finds out that maybe she didn’t have the perfect relationship with her husband. I would definitely recommend this one!

The Perfect Mother

I was recommended this book by a friend and it was really good and different than what I normally read. The May Mothers is a group of new moms whose babies were born in the same month. They get together twice a week to chat about everyday motherly situations. When the women go out for rare drinks, on Fourth of July one of the babies is taken from his crib. This thriller takes you through the next days of finding the newborn baby and what went terribly wrong. I read this book in one day and would highly recommend.

The Last Mrs. Parrish:

This book is another really quick read that you will not want to put down. The main character, Amber, is from a very small town and has big dreams of being rich with wealthy friends. One day, she books it out of her small town to the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut. She then finds an extremely wealthly friend Daphne at the gym where she creates lie after lie to get her to like her. Also not only, does Daphne look perfect but she also has a dream family, not to mention they’re surrounded by the kind of wealth that Amber could only dream of.  Amber’s envy gets the best of her in this twisting novel. I even had my sister-in-law read this one and she LOVED it too!

A Stranger In The House

If you liked the book and movie Gone Girl, you will love this book.  One day when Tom, the main character gets home from work he finds that his house is not only unlocked but his wife gone, which is very uncommon of her to do. After hours of not being home, the police arrive at his door to inform him that his wife has been in a car accident and has been taken to a local hospital. When he gets there his wife has no memory of the crash however, when a murder happens near her crash site the police start to think she was involved. The wife realizes that she quickly needs to recover her memory to prove that she’s innocent. This book is another page turner and the entire time you’re cheering her on to see what she can remember and prove she’s innocent.

Where the Crawdads Sing

I found this book off of Reese Witherspoon’s Reading List and had to pick it up because she highly raved about it. To be honest, this book is a little hard to read at first, but once you learn more about the main character you begin to feel for her. She is known as the Marsh Girl and all she has ever known is the swamp and her family. This book had all of my favorites in one. It’s a thriller with a murder twisted in and a love story.
