Hey guys! I got a great response from the last book review I did (linked my fall book review here), so I thought I would do another! Majority of my most recent reads are thrillers, please let me know what you think in the comments below!
Books
The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian : If you have read one of my book posts before then you know I am a fan of thrillers. The Flight Attendant is a suspense that is about a flight attendant who sleeps with a passenger on one of her flights. As she awakes the passenger is dead beside her. This thriller takes you throughout her night and it makes you wonder if she killed him.
No Exit by Taylor Adams : This book was another great thriller! As Darby enters a winter storm, she finds herself pulling into a rest stop and stranded by a blizzard. She has no cell service and finds that five other people are stranded here as well. When she goes to try to find a cell connection she sees a girl trapped in a car and one of the five people inside is holding her captive. This book is extremely thrilling and a definite page turner.
Every Breath by Nicholas Sparks : I have always been a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks and when I saw he had a new book, I picked it up right away. This one is a MUST-READ! I fell in love right from the beginning and it starts with Hope Anderson, a thirty-six year old, who is waiting for her boyfriend of six years to purpose. She finds herself heading to her parents beach house for a friends wedding and she meets Tru Walls. Tru is from Africa and he is at the same beach that weekend to meet his long lost father that he has never met. This book is full of romance, fate and you will be instantly hooked.
An Anonymous Girl by Greet Hendricks : I read this book in two days it was SO good. Jessica is a striving makeup artist in the city trying to make extra cash where she can. When she is doing on of her ritzy clients makeup she hears a job opportunity she can’t pass up. She shows up to an interview for a psychology study and is asked a series of questions that end up leading her down a weird path. She keeps getting asked to come back for more questions and more cash and the book gets more and more twisted with each page. I would highly recommend.
The Wife by Alafair Burke : I found this book randomly on the top new releases and I am so glad I did because it was really good. When Angela recently marries professor Jason Powell she is truly captivated by their romance. She assumes they have the perfect relationship until one day reports surfaced about the highly raved about professor had sexually misconducted one of his students. When the student who reported this behavior goes missing, Angela is forced to look deeper into her husbands past. This was another super quick read and very suspenseful.
In the Blood by Lisa Unger : The one book from this list that stands out from the rest is In the Blood. This book is so intense that right because right when you think you know what’s going on another huge twist appends and you’re completely wrong. This happens about five times in this book and the ending blew me away. I wouldn’t say this is my favorite book but it’s a must-read if your enjoy thrillers.
